Our third model in the line-up is the Tetra 523 (aka: Betta 523), which mixes the sounds of a Telecaster® with that of the historic P90's. Just like it's cousin, the Betta 222, this guitar is light in weight — coming in at just 6-8lbs — You'll thank us after several sets. And just like the Betta 222, this guitar is full in sound and it ROCKS!
The Tetra 523 is powered with a DiMarzio Twang King™ in the neck poistion, coupled with DiMarzio Bluesbucker® in the bridge position. When these pickups are on together, they achieve the open, slightly hollow sound that two single-coils produce.
The Tetra 523 is full in sound and it ROCKS!
Each guitar body is hand cut from selected reclaimed old growth woods. Each is then carefully sculpted using rasps, files and sandpaper, and each then goes through a unique proprietary process of heat and friction to seal the end grain.

Each guitar is Made-to-Order. Because each guitar body is hand carved and painted, no two instruments, and no two of the same models, are exactly alike. EACH is its own piece of art, separate from the others. These are not mass-produced, and do require a 2-3 month wait time once ordered. Because each guitar is made-to-order, we cannot offer exchanges or returns. Full Details
The slower transference of acoustic energy from the non-glued neck yields a little more pop and attack from the string—in essence, it decouples the strings from the body and neck. The snap and pop of the bolt-on guitar neck emphasizes note definition. It adds a sharpness and firmness that contribute to a cutting tone, often called "twang".
One of the most common scale lengths is the 25-1/2" (648mm) guitar scale and found on a wide variety of instruments. The 25-1/2" scale produces a rich, strong, bell-like tone, and defined low-end.
